The Importance of Doctrine-Part One
In our previous nuggets titled "How Big Is Your God" we discussed "Unity on the essentials, freedom on the nonessentials, and love in all things." We spoke on the fact that as Christians we can agree to disagree on many doctrines.
In this series we are going to discuss the fact that doctrine is important and speak on what we believe are some of the essential doctrines. What we mean by essential doctrine is that if you do not believe in these doctrines, then you would not be considered a Christian or you are a Christian who needs to be educated on the truths of the Holy Bible. A person can be a Christian and at the same time be deceived in regards to believing in a false doctrine.
Only God knows if a person is born again, but those who chose to willfully believe in false doctrine or who willfully teach false doctrine are called sheep in wolves clothing according to Jesus Christ.
In this nugget we will list Bible verses that emphasis the importance of correct doctrine.
