joshua-adam-dover-hopeful-years

There were a couple years after Joshua’s motorcycle crash that Joshua would call his hopeful years. His body was healing, he was able to start doing some things he did in the past. He was not in constant excessive pain. BUT!

But his narcotic pain medication stopped working. No matter what medication he was on, he was not getting any physical relief from pain. The pain meds stopped working completely. (It should be noted that Joshua never got any sensation of being ‘high’ from narcotic medication. He did a couple of times on one medication so he reduced the dosage because he did not like the feeling)

This became a very dark time in Johsua’s life. He would stay in his bed for 22 hours a day because it was the only way he found relief. He literally became a hermit. This was not only a very dark time for Joshua, but for those who loved him. He was hopeless and they were becoming hopeless. Was there ever going to be turnaround? We finally started to see some positive changes.
