In this podcast Carmi and I share our perspective in regard to facing trials, tribulations, hardships, troubles, tough times.
We wish we shared the following concepts with Joshua in a better way than we did. We also hope Joshua will be able to better grasp the concepts and more willing to receive and apply what we share. At the same time, we know that Joshua is alive and is pushing through his tribulations because of God’s intervention in his life and him living out the principles we are going to share. Our hope is that by us doing this podcast it will help others going through trials and tribulations.
Carmi and I have 83 combined years as Christ Followers, so we look at everything in the light of Scripture. We believe there are powerful biblical principles, and if you live by them, you have the Favor of God and favor with man, and yes, it rains on the just and unjust. But if there is going to be a downpour, we should want the favor of God. The favor of God does not mean it will never rain, but God can protect us from the storm. It does not mean there will not be times of thunder and lightning and possibly be destruction, but God will get us through the tragedy.
God’s Grace is Sufficient
The truth is life on this earth is hell at times and the hell cannot be avoided. BUT either God’s grace is sufficient or He is a liar. Multitudes of times Carmi and I say we could never go through what Joshua has gone through the last six years. We certainly would not want to go through what he has gone through. But God’s grace is sufficient.
2 Corinthians 12:9
And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.

Joy in Horrible Circumstances
James 1:2-4
2 Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. 4 And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
Strength to Endure
Philippians 4:13
“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
Live Beyond Circumstances
Isaiah 41:10
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Hope That Does Not Disappointment
Romans 5:3-5
3 And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; 4 and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; 5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
We Believe
-We believe if we feed the Spirit Man, not the flesh and we will have the favor of God.
-We believe if we live in the will of God we will have the favor of God.
-We believe if we apply Scripture to our circumstances we will have the favor of God.
-We believe if we live according to the will of God we will have the favor of God.
-We believe if we focus on others we will have the favor of God.
-We believe if we give our all, even if our all is little, we will have the favor of God.
-We believe if we have a heart of praise we will have the favor of God.
